The Great Northern War

The articles in the present publication contribute to elucidate the course of the Great Northern War. Not only do they represent a wide range of aspects of the same conflict – with variations in time and space – they also demonstrate a variety of methodological approaches and the many-faceted ways in which the Great Northern War is studied by contemporary historians.
